He was 60 when death snatched away his wife of 30 years from him.

He thought the world had come to an end because he could not imagine life without his beloved wife, his jewel of inestimable value, his priceless gem.

That marriage produced 4 issues 3 boys and a girl (last born and who was 16 at the time of her mother's death)

He tried the much he could to give his children both paternal and maternal care and love and while the boys coped on well, the girl simply refused to be consoled. She missed her mother terribly.

After three years of mourning his wife and on the advise of his relatives, he married again; but instead of marrying an older lady, he married a 32 year old lady who had seen the world but was still single.

Incidentally, his male children did not get to meet his wife to be until the wedding day since they had all left the house except the girl who was still Schooling.

And so while they were all seated in the Church the bridal procession was announced and as the bride marched in, all eyes were turned towards her including that of the man's children.

The Eldest Son of the man thought he knew the lady and even the second son also thought same but because she was veiled, they decided to wait until she was unveiled.

By the time the man unveiled the lady and was about to commit himself to her, the young men realized that she was the Lady that used to entertain them and their friends in one of the popular hotels in the University Town which was far removed from their home town, where their Father was wedding.

They were shocked to see that she was the one; The Eldest Son asked his immediate if he knew her and how, he narrated to him how the lady was a favourite amongst indigent students who did not have money to keep girlfriends in School, the Senior guy also said same thing and they both swore that their Father can not marry the lady.

The Senior Son quickly moved over th where his Dad was standing before the Lady about to take the vow and whispered in his ears that he cannot marry the Lady because she is a P...t...te

On hearing that, the man dropped the hands of the Lady as if they were burning his skin and broke out in sweat,

While he was still thinking of what to do the 2nd Son walked over and whispered in the man's ears a confirmation of what his Senior Brother had earlier said, he even went to the extent of telling his Dad that majority of their School Boys had gone in and out of the Lady.

So, when the Presiding Pastor called on the man to proceed with the wedding vows, the man started stammering and in the process, the bride's feet went jelly and she fell into the hands of her Chief Bride's Maid.

Now if you were in that man's position, what would you do?
